Western Eagles FC are looking to partner with local businesses for the 2020 season and beyond.

Community support and sponsorship is key to our Club continuing to exist, while at the same time striving for success.  As the club continues to grow, the facilities that players utilise are becoming over-used, outdated and in need of repair.  Furthermore, the grounds themselves are in need of constant maintenance, which at present is being done part-time by volunteers with outdated machinery and does not yield the end result required for the players to utilise. Player injuries are more likely to occur, due to the ground maintenance not being at an acceptable level. Being on private land, means our club does not receive any Council support.

Our Senior Men have proudly won the top honour in Victorian football three times, in 1960, 1961 and 1987, while also coming runners-up on three occasions, amongst many other various accolades.

Our Club is also proud to have had several players rising through the ranks to succeed, of which Thomas Deng is the most recent example. Thomas was given a chance to develop and was promoted at the age of 16 into the senior squad, where he excelled. Since then, he has successfully made the Melbourne Victory first team, Australian U23 team, Australian Socceroos first team, as well as having brief loan stint with Dutch giants’ PSV Eindhoven’s youth team.
